Today we have been on a wee tour of Ayrshire looking for the loved Scarlet Elfcup along the Ness Glen with my friend Micheal, it was his first time visiting. the place is absoulty beautiful, not known really for the mushrooms there but u do find the odd one about, but the place is amazing to go visit regardless!

THROWBACK TO LAST YEAR'S FORAGING

Well, Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog. while we are waiting on the mushroom season to get going, I thought I would share some photos from last year, of some of the mushrooms I found while out foraging. I have been out a few times already this year but nothing worth sharing yet, but hopefully soon!

So in the mean time here are some photos of some porcini mushrooms I found last year, they were in a secret location in Ayrshire, and they were in the middle of a mossy patch, so they were quite hard to spot, but I was lucky enough to find them and they were delicious!

Now ill be going back to this location this year again as its a great spot for porcini, so hopefully I will find some more this year as well, and I will share them on the blog when I do!
